Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
